Hello and welcome!
New this year are our correspondence classes.
We realize not all who would like to be a member of Castle Walls are able to make it to our location. That is why we
have started our correspondence class section.
All correspondence students will be required to purchase their own books. A complete list of curriculum and links to
purchase them can be found on the grade level home page.
Students who choose the online version will be given a password. This will be used to access a special area of the site
for online students only. You can download special work sheets, hand outs, and class notes from this section. Weekly lessons
will be posted on the grade level page and will also be e-mail to the student.
Cost to online students is only $5.00 per month to be used towards site maintenance.
You may also choose the postal version. In this version, additional materials - work sheets, hand outs, class notes, tests,
answer keys to said items, etc. will be mailed monthly to the parents.
Cost to postal students is $20.00 per month to be used towards printing materials and shipping.
All students will be given a student id and e-mail address. E-mail addresses are for school purposes only. This is how the
teachers will keep you informed of changes to lesson plans and such. Also, all students are encouraged to use the chat room and
message board.
Parents of correspondence students may choose to grade lessons themselves and e-mail the results to the teacher
or may elect to mail all completed lessons in to be graded by us. Either way, all lessons for a specific quarter must be
completed, graded and recorded by the end of said quarter or the student will receive an incomplete. A seperate password
will be given to the parents of online students to access work sheet answer keys. There is an additional cost of $15.00 per
month if we grade the materials for you. Quarterly report cards as well as certificates for the completion of Kindergarten,
4th, 8th, and 12th grades will be issued. Please note that our certificates are not the same as a high school diploma. Most
places will still require you to take your GED.

We will send all required information and forms to you asap.
